Baycliff:
Baycliff gets its name from the 15 foot cliff that overlooks Frenchman Bay. There's a deck that overlooks the bay and stairs that leads down to the beach. Baycliff faces north-east and provides amazing sunrises and sunsets. Baycliff truly is a beautiful and peaceful place. If you like to paint or draw, the sun is perfect from 30 minutes after sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset. You can watch lobster boats and many birds leave in the morning and come back in the afternoon. If you like, you can gather mussels at low tide. Or skip rocks into the ocean anytime!
Location:
Baycliff is located on the north coast of Mt. Desert Island and is 2.5 miles from the Acadia National Park visitor center and 5 miles from Bar Harbor. For those that like to ride bicycles, Rt. 3 has recently been renovated and now has a large shoulder in both directions, making it easy to ride into the park or town.

The Baycliff Cottage
The cottage is fully furnished and includes a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with a fantastic view. The cottage accommodates up to six guests. There are two full bathrooms and one half bath. The house offers high-speed internet, WiFi, and cable channels for your entertainment. Additionally, a washer and dryer are available, making longer stays more convenient and comfortable.
There are two upstairs bedrooms and a main-level bedroom, all furnished with queen-sized beds. The walkout basement features a bunk bed, a sitting area, and gaming tables with monitors and chairs, offering additional space for relaxation or entertainment.
Enjoy the outdoors from the large deck, perfect for relaxing or cooking on the grill. There’s convenient parking in front of the cottage, and we provide all linens and towels for an additional $50, which includes bedspreads, blankets, pillowcases, towels, and more.

The Baycliff Cabins
In addition to Baycliff, there are two rustic cabins. These are more budget friendly and we also welcome pets at the cabins.
The Guest House and Pines are identical in layout and amenities, with the main difference being location. The Guest House boasts an ocean view, while the Pines is tucked further up the hill, offering a more secluded setting. Since these cabins are not insulated, we recommend bringing layered clothing if you're visiting in the early or late season.
Amenities:
The spacious living area features a kitchen equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, and sink, along with an eating area and a cozy sitting area with a fireplace. Each cabin can comfortably sleep six guests, with two bedrooms: one featuring a queen-size bed and the other offering a bunk bed and a single bed (all twin sizes).
Enjoy the outdoors from the large covered porch, perfect for relaxing or cooking on the charcoal grill. There’s convenient parking next to each cottage, and we provide all linens and towels for an additional $50, which includes bedspreads, blankets, pillowcases, towels, and more.
